Psychotherapy to heal the patterns that hurt
By the time most people seek help, they’ve been operating from a place of their own core wounding, hurting themselves and others in the process.
All of our behaviors serve a purpose to meet our needs, even if they are harmful to others and ourselves. Rebecca works with clients who have experienced trauma around relationships, have attachment issues, codependency, anxiety, depression, panic attacks and survivors of abuse.
Many people do not recognize unresolved grief, and the need to address it to heal current relationships. She has expertise in working with loss which may go back to early childhood, or recent losses that need to be grieved.

Our current relationships in the world reflect our relationships with ourselves, and therefore can help us to identify areas that need healing and growth. Common areas she addresses are shame, obsessive thinking (including OCD), being stuck in unhealthy relationships, traumatic loss, and family of origin issues. She also teaches methods that help clients change the brain, and consequently, behaviors.
Being in personal codependency recovery, Rebecca is passionate about helping others to recover from abuse, have compassion for the self, and trust in life again. By practicing a client-centered approach, she utilizes a number of modalities based upon the needs of each client. The therapeutic relationship can be one of the most powerful tools for change.
Rebecca tailors her approach to each individual, based upon her original assessment of the client’s perceived needs. She has an integrative psychological approach, meaning that she utilizes tools from multiple theoretical orientations. Her counseling includes the following approaches to therapy:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
- Motivational Interviewing
- Inner Child and Parts Work
- Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) – the “gold standard treatment” for OCD
- Mindfulness
- Existential
- Person Centered
- Attachment focused
Her fees include $250 for the initial 50-minute assessment and $200 for 50-minute individual psychotherapy sessions.
